Actor Hrithik Roshan has once again come forward to help his fellow members of the Cine and TV Artistes Association (CINTAA). Hrithik has donated 20 lakh rupees to the association. Along with this, he has also donated ration kits to help the members of the association who come under the below poverty line.

CINTAA general secretary Amit Behl confirmed this saying, "Hrithik Roshan helped us during the last lockdown as well. Then he donated Rs 25 lakh. This time the money that Hrithik will give will be used by 5000 members of the association. vaccination and providing ration to the members who are below the poverty line.

Amit Behl further added, "Vicky Kaushal has also helped CINTAA with a donation of about 2.5 lakh rupees. While actress Flora Saina has donated 25 thousand rupees. Apart from these, there are some other members who have made the association smaller. A small donation has been made. Hrithik's big donation is going to prove to be a big help for us."

About 60 per cent of CINTAA members are daily wage workers, who have been hit hardest by the government's new SOPs. Because they are unable to get work due to the lockdown. There are some members who are looking for alternative jobs to survive. The association itself is also trying to help its members internally by raising funds and using the funds from the association. Amit says, “Sinta has already provided ration to 1400 members and transferred Rs 3000 from the fund accumulated over the year to about 2000 members of the association.”

Earlier, even during the firstwave of Corona, many celebrities came forward to help the daily wage workers of the industry. Many other celebs like Anushka Sharma-Virat Kohli, Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas, Akshay Kumar-Twinkle Khanna, Salman Khan among others raised funds and helped many in the industry in difficult times.
